Taste of Dublin is back this June

Since it was first launched some twenty years ago it has gone from strength to strength. For those yet to attend this event, the best description I can offer is that from the 13 -15 of June a city location is transformed into a gastronomic paradise. This open-air experience was for a number of years held in the Iveagh Gardens. However, ever since last year it has relocated to the very pleasing surroundings of Merrion Square.
What to Expect?
Taste is essentially a celebration of great Irish food, with French, Spanish or Indian cuisine also to be had. One of the most appealing aspects of the festival is that it is interactive. This means an assortment of talks, demos, and tasting plates, alongside the chance to meet Michelin-award winning/ celebrity chefs, and the finest Irish artisan food producers in the land.
It is a golden opportunity to find essential ingredients or learn essential skills. Yet, if all that seems too much like hard work, why not sample what the best restaurants have to offer, including exclusive or signature dishes. There are various packages offered by Taste, starting with a general admission fee of €18, and with exceptional food and drink experiences ranging from €54 to €66.00.

Taste is worth contemplating, if you are planning a summer experience. This culinary extravaganza has a little bit of everything, and while it generally attracts adults it is family friendly, with children under the age of 10 having free entry.
As June is not too far away it is advised to reserve tickets, so not to be disappointed. To do so, and obtain the full line-up for 2025 please visit tasteofdublin.tickets.ie
