Handmade with Care and Shared with Love

This is ten year old Elsie Redmond from Irishtown.
Elsie has a hobby of making bracelets from little clay beads, she sits for hours being creative and loves nothing more than getting a request for a personalised bracelet. They come packed in a small mesh bag with a business card from her. Elsie doesn’t charge for her bracelets, however most people give her a donation.
A few months ago she saved up all of her donations and donated €150 to Crumlin Children’s Hospital. She decided to do this because they cared for her baby cousin when he underwent an operation when he was two years old. Elsie made everyone in her family so proud when she made this kind gesture. The Children’s Hospital were so grateful for this act of kindness and Elsie received a certificate of thanks and a small gift.
Thanks to Elsie’s mam Louise for sharing this special story and a big well done to Elsie for making the world brighter for other children.
