Walk the Dodder
If you are a keen rambler and an early riser, you may fancy pulling on your walking boots next Saturday morning 13th May.
The Dodder Action group are organising a walk along the river Dodder, and supplying a qualified guide to boot.
The meeting point is Clonskeagh Public House (free parking available) from where the group will leave at 7:30 by bus; the cost 5 Euro per person. Clonskeagh Public House will also serve as the lunch spot.
Hiking boots and gaters are essential, with the group recommending a change of shoes for when city pathways and sidewalks are encountered. The height gain is approximately 400m and the total distance to be covered is about 26km.
