Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…
Dublin City Council have issued a temporary bathing water prohibition for Sandymount Strand and Merrion Strand. There will be an update on Monday (July 13) when the results come in from further samples taken of the beaches today.
This harks back to 2014, when a bathing water prohibition was also in effect for Sandymount Strand in July.
